CONTEST NAME: "DEAR MOM WITH IKEA FAMILY"
The following are the Terms and Conditions under which the: "DEAR MOM WITH IKEA FAMILY" will be developed and carried out online. The person wishing to participate acknowledges and agrees that the development and execution of this promotional activity will be subject solely and exclusively to the Terms and Conditions of these rules and our website.
1. PROMOTION SPONSOR: SARTON PUERTO RICO LLC ("IKEA"). For the purpose of this contest, we declare our formal address at SARTON PUERTO RICO LLC. 2. DURATION AND TERRITORIAL SCOPE: This Promotion will be valid in the island of Puerto Rico from April 29 to May 12, 2024, ending on Sunday, September 12, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. Any participations made after the aforementioned dates and times, as well as those that do not include all the requested requirements, will be considered null and void.
3. PARTICIPANTS: All persons over eighteen (18) years of age who have followed the steps of the contest mechanics during the period from April 29 to May 12, 2024.
4. CONTEST MECHANICS: Participation is done by completing the form at www.IKEA.pr, registering up to 5 purchase invoices made in IKEA stores or delivery points during the contest period. This promotion has a minimum purchase of US$50 to participate. The winner will be contacted via telephone and email, so correct registration of personal data is necessary.
5. EXCLUDED: Employees and relatives of SARTON PUERTO RICO LLC ("IKEA") and related companies are excluded.
6. WINNER SELECTION: 6 winners will be chosen through the RANDOM.ORG platform. To be declared a winner, the contest mechanics indicated in point 4 must have been fulfilled.
Note: IKEA Puerto Rico may disqualify individuals who have won or participated in any of the contests held in the last 6 months by the brand or the organizer.
7. PRIZE: 5 $500 purchase vouchers and 1 $1000 purchase voucher.
The purchase voucher is non-transferable and must be used by the customer. The amount of the purchase voucher cannot be used to pay for transportation or assembly services, nor will it be redeemable for another or for cash.
The date range in which the winner can use the voucher online and/or in-store (store or delivery point) is 3 months from May 15.
The Organizers are not responsible in case of loss or theft of the purchase voucher, and the customer releases the Organizers from any liability as a result of accepting or using the Purchase Voucher or participating in the Promotion.
6. WINNERS: On June 3, 2024, the 10 IKEA FAMILY VISA and/or IKEA Family LOYALTY main winners will be selected within the organizers' facilities, in the presence of a notary and the winners of the promotion will be announced through IKEA Dominican Republic's social media.
The use of a purchase voucher never generates new purchase vouchers.
8. NOTIFICATION OF WINNER AND PRIZE DELIVERY: The winner of the contest will be announced through Instagram and Facebook stories on May 15, 2024, on @IKEAPuertoRico accounts. The winner will be notified by means of a phone call or email to the number and email address provided by the winner in the form submitted to participate, indicating the steps to validate their prize. The organizers are not responsible for any expenses incurred by the winner to claim their prize; it must be collected at the IKEA Bayamón store facilities. If the winner does not respond to the contact within 24 hours after the end of the contest, the organizer will choose an alternate winner.
9. PERSONAL DATA: The personal data provided by customers to participate in this Promotion will be incorporated into the data file called "PROMOTIONS," owned by SARTON PUERTO RICO LLC (IKEA). 10. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE RULES: Mere participation in the Promotion implies acceptance of these rules and also consent under the Privacy Policy Notification Law, LAW NO. 39 OF JANUARY 24, 2012, by the participants that the registered data may be used by SARTON PUERTO RICO LLC / IKEA-PR to communicate other campaigns or promotions, without the need to expressly consent in writing to the use of their personal information for these purposes. In case of doubts or discrepancies in the interpretation of these rules, they will be referred to the applicable law in Puerto Rico. The rules will be available during the period in which the Promotion is valid on the website www.IKEA.pr.
11. USE OF WINNERS' NAMES AND IMAGE: If the winning participant is not interested in participating in these publications, they may send an email to lopd@ikeasi.com rejecting their consent. 12. GENERAL: THE ORGANIZERS may disqualify and/or exclude from the promotion those customers who directly or indirectly have altered, breached, or violated the rules established in these Promotion Bases.
13. APPLICABLE LAW: This promotion is governed by the current legislation in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, especially Regulation of Commercial Practices No. 9158 dated February 6, 2020, and these rules.
