For stability you need to use extra support fixtures for curtain wires longer than 55". Up to 110", 1 extra fitting; up to 165", 2 extra fittings, up to 197", 3 extra fittings.
Different wall/ceiling materials require different types of fasteners. Use fasteners suitable for the wall/ceiling in your home (not included).
Don't get cornered
DIGNITET wire system isn't an acrobat but it can hang anywhere - from walls, ceilings and corners. You can use it to put up curtains and panel curtains along windows and walls, in bay windows and niches, and to divide rooms.
The hinges on DIGNITET curtain wire fixtures let you angle the wire in different directions. And by adding one or more corner pieces you can easily adapt DIGNITET to your space and needs.
Ready for a shower
All parts in the DIGNITET wire system are made of stainless steel, which means that you can use them outdoors and in the bathroom. You can put a screen around your balcony or bathtub and keep the morning shower or the evening breeze on the right side of the curtain!
Hang anywhere - outside and inside
You can mount DIGNITET wire system to walls, ceilings and corners. Use it to hang curtains, panel curtains and drapes just about anywhere and in every room - even in bay windows and niches, and as a room divider. All parts are stainless steel, so it's OK to use DIGNITET wire system outdoors and in the bathroom. You can use it with a shower curtain to reduce splashes on the floor - or on the balcony with a nice curtain to soften the evening breeze.
What is stainless steel?
Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing items – without losing its valuable properties.
