Pick up your purchase at Tropical Shipping Customs
IKEA currently works with Tropical Shipping, LLC, who is in charge of shipping your order and informing you of the service conditions in case you need additional information.
Once your purchase arrives to the destination you have selected, the shipping company will notify that you can pick up the purchase. If you have any doubt about delivery, you can get in contact with the shipping company on www.tropical.com.
Tropical Shipping applies marine cargo insurance coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of its Tariff.
If the total of the purchase invoice does not exceed $250, we will not be able to offer you free shipping and your order will have transport costs that will vary depending on its weight.

All purchases are pre-insured, meaning that apart from the shipping, there is a small additional cost of approximately $10 for your peace of mind. However, if for any reason you do not want to insure your purchase or you have any doubt regarding shipping, you can get in contact at www.tropical.com or by telephone (787-277-7073)
If you notified that you did not want insurance, that will be the moment when you can make any claim. If you have not notified the cancellation of the insurance, you will have 3 working days to make any claim.
The handing over of your purchase will be carried out at the warehouse of the delivery company at the destination’s customs. Take into account that you must identify yourself when picking up the purchase.
Remember that taxes are not included, you will have to make the customs declaration at destination.
Delivery time
The estimated delivery time varies between 7 and 14 days from the time of purchase.
The transport company will notify you when your purchase has arrived in St Croix or St Thomas. And they will inform you on how to pick it up.
Once the purchase has arrived you will have 7 calendar days to pick it up free of charge, after which the transport company may charge a storage fee.

IKEA works with Fabiens Trucking, LLC which is in charge of delivering your purchase comfortably to your home. You will be able to request the service at the check-out of your order and the payment method is Cash on delivery (COD) to the Fabiens Trucking representative that hands out your order.
