For what purpose do we process your personal data?

At Sarton Puerto Rico LLC we process the personal data provided by interested persons in order to send our current offers and promotions, offer discounts on services and to generally promote communications between our company and our customers. .

In order to offer you specific products you are interested in we will develop a “commercial profile” for you, based on the information provided. No automated actions will be taken based on that profile.


For how long will we keep your data?

The personal data provided by users will be kept for a period of four years or until deletion of said information is requested by the interested party Personal data will be retained for the purposes of keeping a history of User’s commercial transactions and distribution of guarantees and offers. In some cases, in accordance with the current legislation, the four-year period may be extended.


What regulates processing and retention of your data?

The legal basis for retention and/or processing of personal data is the execution of the contract for the provision of services and the compliance with the following regulations:

  • Privacy Policy Notification Act, Law Number 39 from the 24th of January 2012, as amended.
  • The Citizen Information on Data Banks Security Act, Law Number 111 from the 7th of September 2005, as amended.
  • he Telephone Consumer Protection Information Act of 1991 (TCPA), as amended - The Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
  • Law to Forbid the Recompilation of Personal Information of a Consumer at the Moment of Making a Purchase as Requisite to Culminate the Commercial Transaction, Law Number 38 from the 3rd of May 2016.
  • Regulation to Implement the Publication of the Privacy Policy in the Managing of Private and Personal Citizen Data, as complied in Puerto Rico.
  • Regulation 8568 of the 9th of May 2015 promulgated by the Department of Consumer Affairs; the Regulation for the Prevention of Fraud in Telemarketing.
  • Regulation 8631 from the 18th of August 2015 promulgated by the Department of Consumer Affairs.
  • All federal, territorialor local laws and regulations that deal with these subjects.

The prospective offer of products and services is based on the requested consent, and in no case will the withdrawal of this consent reduce company’s rights under this agreement.


To which recipients will the data be communicated?

Sarton Puerto Rico LLC does not transfer data to third parties. We are committed to safeguarding our client’s personal data and it will be used exclusively for the purposes for which it was obtained.


What are your rights when you provide your data?

Anyone can submit a request to Sarton Puerto Rico LLC to confirm whether their personal data has been retained and/or processed by Sarton Puerto Rico LLC.
