"For the SJÖMAKT lamp series, I was inspired by classic cobbler lamps from the early 1900s. Simple and practical lamps with a round, conical shape that lit areas well. Back then, the shades were usually in glass, but I decided to make them in metal. I’m extra pleased with the small details like the metal fastening screws and the arched bracket and cord adjuster in sold ash. They give the simple shape of the lamps a slightly nostalgic character that goes nicely in most homes.”
