CONTEST NAME: Back to School with IKEA Family!
These are the Terms and Conditions under which the: “Back to School with IKEA Family” will be developed and carried out. The person who wishes to participate acknowledges and accepts that the development and execution of this promotional activity will be subject exclusively to the Terms and Conditions of these rules and our website.
1. PROMOTION SPONSOR: SARTON PUERTO RICO LLC (“IKEA”). For the purposes of this contest, we formally choose the domicile at SARTON PUERTO RICO LLC IKEA Santa Rosa Mall, Avenida Aguas Buenas, Bayamón, PR 00959. PO BOX: Santa Rosa Mall Mailbox 20,000, WEB: www.IKEA.pr
2. DURATION AND TERRITORIAL SCOPE: This Promotion will be valid in Puerto Rico from July 1 to August 18, 2024, ending on Monday, August 18, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Entries made after the aforementioned dates and times, as well as those that do not include all the requested requirements, will be considered void.
3. PARTICIPANTS: All boys and girls who, during the period from July 1 to August 18, 2024, have followed the contest mechanics.
4. CONTEST MECHANICS: Participation occurs when the child makes a drawing with recycled materials showing what they would like to be when they grow up and takes the drawing to the IKEA Bayamón or Carolina store and Ponce Delivery Point, and deposits the drawing in the box. To participate, parents must place their information on a sticker that will be given at the IKEA Family stand with the following information: name, surname, email, phone number, and IKEA Family number (if they do not have an IKEA Family account, they can register at the moment). The winner will be contacted by phone and email, so it is necessary to register the correct personal data.
5. EXCLUSIONS: Employees and relatives of SARTON PUERTO RICO LLC (“IKEA”) and related companies are excluded.
6. WINNER SELECTION: One winner will be chosen through a live broadcast on the IKEA Puerto Rico Facebook account by selecting from the boxes. To win, the participant must have complied with the contest mechanics indicated in point 4.
Note: IKEA Puerto Rico may disqualify people who have won or participated in any contests held by the brand or organizer in the last 6 months.
7. PRIZE: A FLOTTILJ 805.523.18 desk lamp and a MICKE / ÖRFJÄLL 695.534.56 desk + chair.
8. WINNER: On August 19, 2024, one winner will be chosen through a live broadcast on the IKEA Puerto Rico Facebook account by selecting from the boxes.
9. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND PRIZE DELIVERY: The contest winner will be published via Instagram and Facebook stories on August 20, 2024, on the @IKEAPuertoRico accounts. The winner will be notified by phone or email to the number and email address provided in the entry form, indicating the steps to claim the prize. The organizers are not responsible for any expenses incurred by the winner to claim their prize, which must be picked up at the IKEA Bayamón store. If the winner does not respond within 24 hours after the contest ends, the organizer will choose an alternate winner.
10. PERSONAL DATA: The personal data provided by customers to participate in this Promotion will be incorporated into the data file called “PROMOTIONS", owned by SARTON PUERTO RICO LLC IKEA Santa Rosa Mall, Avenida Aguas Buenas, Bayamón, PR 00959. 11. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS: Participation in the Promotion implies acceptance of these terms and the consent, under the Privacy Policy Notification Act, LAW NUM. 39 OF JANUARY 24, 2012, by the participants that the registered data may be used by SARTON PUERTO RICO LLC / IKEA-PR to communicate other campaigns or promotions, without the need to expressly consent in writing to the use of their personal information for these purposes. In case of doubts or discrepancies in the interpretation of these terms, they will be referred to the applicable law in Puerto Rico. The terms will be available during the Promotion period on the website www.IKEA.pr.
12. "USE OF WINNER'S NAME AND IMAGE": If the winning participant is not interested in participating in these publications, they can send an email to lopd@ikeasi.com declining their consent. 12. GENERAL: THE ORGANIZERS may disqualify and/or exclude from the promotion those customers who directly or indirectly have altered, violated, or breached the rules established in these Promotion Terms.
13. APPLICABLE LAW: This promotion is governed by the current legislation in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, specifically Commercial Practices Regulation No. 9158 dated February 6, 2020, and these terms.
