The stories will be evaluated by a multidisciplinary committee appointed by IKEA Puerto Rico, taking into consideration the following criteria: human impact of the story, authenticity and truthfulness, need for the space, technical feasibility of the intervention, storytelling potential, and alignment with the brand’s values, for the selection of the winning participant.
The committee’s decisions will be final and will not require further justification.
-
BENEFIT GRANTED: The selected participants will be contacted by email or telephone to schedule an in-person appointment at an IKEA store or a virtual appointment, where they will receive a transformation proposal for the approved space using IKEA products and services determined exclusively by IKEA Puerto Rico.
The transformation may include furniture, accessories, decoration, textiles, lighting, organizational solutions, and installation, as determined by IKEA Puerto Rico.
The maximum value of each transformation will be up to US$2,500, an amount determined by IKEA Puerto Rico according to the budget allocated for this specific Call for Entries, product availability, and project feasibility.

IKEA Puerto Rico will be released from any claim arising from disagreements between the Representative and the final beneficiary regarding decisions made during the project.

It may not be sold, assigned, exchanged for cash, credit, discounts, refunds, or replaced with other products or services at the request of the participant or beneficiary.
Due to the nature of the initiative, the products, furniture, accessories, and other items delivered or installed as part of the transformation may not be returned, exchanged, refunded, or credited, except for defects covered by legally applicable warranties.
