Salmon Bagel
A toasted bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon, tomato, red onion, and a touch of lemon and dill. Fresh and delicious!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 bagel, cut in half
- 3 to 4 slices of smoked salmon
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1/2 oz red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tomato slices
- .25 oz mesclun
- Lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ teaspoon dill sauce
STEP BY STEP
- Toast the bagel.
- If desired, toast the bagel halves in a toaster or in a skillet over medium heat for 5 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned and warm.
- Spread the cream cheese.
- Spread the cream cheese evenly on the inside of each bagel half.
- Add the salmon.
- Place the smoked salmon on top of the cream cheese, making sure to cover the surface evenly.
- Add the vegetables.
- Arrange the tomato and red onion slices on top of the salmon, and add the mesclun.
- Add seasoning.
- Drizzle lightly with lemon juice and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Assemble and serve.
- Place the top half of the bagel on top, press gently, and serve immediately. You can garnish with lemon slices and a touch of dill sauce if desired.
