Pork knuckle timbale
This timbale combines the intense taste of roasted pork knuckle with the softness of mashed potatoes. Accompanied with vegetables and a delicious meat sauce, this is an easy recipe to prepare and it`s perfect to enjoy a complete meal with a homemade and special touch.

- 1 unit of roasted pork knuckle
- 1 pack of ALLEMANSRÄTTEN mashed potatoes
- Variety of vegetables to decorate (carrot, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, asparagus…)
- Mix for cream sauce (meat sauce) ALLEMANSRÄTTEN

Step by step
1. Get the knuckle out of its package and roast it in the oven with its gravy at 220ºC for 10 or 15 minutes.
2. Prepare the ALLEMANSRÄTTEN mashed potatoes as indicated. You can add more consistency to it by adding a bit of grated cheese, butter or egg yolk (optional).
3. Dice the vegetables, or shred them, and sauté them in a pan with a bit of oil, salt and pepper, until they’re soft but firm. Reserve to decorate.
4. Prepare the ALLEMANSRÄTTEN meat sauce as indicated and reserve.
5. In a cooking ring, put a generous layer of mashed potatoes, softly pressing with the back of a spoon to compact it. Add a layer of shredded pork knuckle and repeat the process: another layer of mashed potato (also pressed) and a thin layer of pork knuckle to finish. This will help keeping the timbale’s shape when removing the ring.
6. After 2 minutes, remove the ring carefully and decorate with the sautéed vegetables on top. Finish it with the meat sauce to taste. Enjoy your meal!
